The Gamepad Tester polls the browser Gamepad API and shows every connected controller with live button, trigger and stick feedback. Standard-mapped controllers get a visual pad with named face buttons and sticks, while raw data remains available for all buttons and axes, including controllers with unknown mappings.

How to use

  1. Connect a gamepad and press any button so the browser recognizes it.
  2. Choose Visual or Raw data to inspect the controls, or open Raw data inside each card.
  3. Use the vibration test when the controller and browser support haptics.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my gamepad not showing?

Most browsers only expose gamepads after a button is pressed, so press any button and make sure the page has permission to read input.

Does the tool upload controller data?

No. Gamepad state is read locally and never leaves your browser.
