SSL Certificate Checker
Inspect TLS certificates for any domain, including issuer, validity and remaining days.
The SSL Certificate Checker connects to a host over TLS and reports certificate details such as the issuer, subject, validity period, remaining days, SAN entries, protocol and cipher. It works for domains, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
How to use
- Enter a hostname or IP address and an optional port.
- Run the check and wait for the TLS handshake to complete.
- Review certificate fields and remaining validity days.
Frequently asked questions
Does the checker reject expired certificates?
It reports whether the certificate is authorized and shows the validity dates, so expired and self-signed certificates are still visible.
Which ports can I check?
Any TCP port from 1 to 65535, with 443 used by default.
Is the private key exposed?
No. Only public certificate metadata is read during the handshake.
